Remote – Philippines Part-Time Contractor | 20 hours per week About Around Finance Around Finance is an Irish accounting practice . We act as the outsourced finance function for more than 100 founder-led Irish businesses on a fixed monthly subscription. We’re remote-first, with team members in Ireland, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the Philippines, and were named Xero Small Partner of the Year, Ireland 2026 . We’re looking for someone to take ownership of our billing process and make sure all work gets billed and paid on time . The Role You’ll own the billing process end to end, including: Producing and issuing recurring client invoices each month Reconciling what was invoiced against what should have been invoiced Chasing and confirming direct debit collections and flagging failed collections Reviewing Extra Work and Out of Scope records and preparing invoices Making sure agreed service plan changes and fee increases are billed promptly Adjusting client billing for monthly payroll movements Setting up new clients correctly for billing from day one Keeping billing-related job and work item data accurate in Karbon What We’re Looking For You should have: 3+ years of solid bookkeeping experience , ideally within a professional services firm Strong, current Xero skills Experience running a billing or invoicing cycle for multiple clients Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping and foreign currency Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Confident written English The willingness to chase people politely and repeatedly until you get an answer Experience with Dext, Notion, GoProposal and GoCardless would be useful, but isn’t essential. Engagement This is an independent contractor role at 20 hours per week , invoiced monthly. You must be available for at least 3 hours each working day between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM Manila time . Month-end — the first four working days of each month — is the busiest period, and hours can be tailored around peak periods as needed. The role will begin with a two-week paid trial , working on live billing under supervision.
