Job Description

As a Dental Biller, you will play a critical role in managing the complete billing cycle, including Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This role ensures efficient billing operations by handling claims, investigating denials, and performing end-to-end billing tasks to optimize revenue for dental practices. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Revenue Cycle Management (RCM): Oversee the entire billing cycle from claims submission to final reimbursement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every stage. Accounts Receivable (A/R) Collections: Track and manage unpaid claims, perform timely follow-ups, and resolve collection issues to maximize revenue. Claims Denial Investigation and Resolution: Investigate denied claims, identify errors or missing information, and resubmit claims with appropriate corrections. Claims Resubmission and Corrections: Manage backend billing tasks related to claim corrections and resubmissions to avoid reimbursement delays. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all billing activities are properly documented and compliant with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA. Requirements Proven experience in medical billing within a dental practice setting Experience with claim denial management and collections processes Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) Proficiency with dental billing software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Denticon, etc.) Strong familiarity with dental insurance providers (Delta Dental, MetLife, Cigna, etc.) Excellent customer service, analytical, and critical-thinking skills Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient data confidentiality Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision Willingness to work US time zones (PST, EST, CST) High school diploma or equivalent System and Work Setup Requirements Internet: Stable, high-speed connection (preferably 25 Mbps or higher) Device: Own PC or laptop with at least 8 GB RAM Processor: Intel Core i5, AMD Ryzen 3, or 2013 Mac equivalent (or higher) Operating System: Windows 10 or later / macOS Catalina 10.15 or newer Storage: 500 GB HDD or 128 GB SSD (or higher) with sufficient free space Web Browser & Security: Up-to-date browsers and active security software Audio Equipment: Noise-canceling headset or earphones Webcam: 720p resolution or higher Workspace: Dedicated, quiet, and organized workspace free from distractions Benefits Permanent remote work setup Competitive starting rate paid in USD Internet subsidy Medical allowance Retirement fund Paid US holidays Paid vacation and sick leave
