We create training information and systems for coaches and are looking for a talented Video Editor and Social Media Expert - YouTube and Facebook to join our dynamic team. About You: MUST be a self-starter! (See below for a clarification on what being a self-starter means please.) Someone who is creative and can bring some solid creative flair to the table. It's essential you're very brand aware and find ways to improve our brand in general. Your ability to communicate and understand our audience and create targeted engagement is critical. What is a self-starter? Self-starters are professionals who take initiative, can work without supervision and begin projects independently. They typically have the following skills: Motivation . Self-starters feel compelled to take action in the workplace without requiring additional prompting from supervisors. Confidence. Self-starters commonly trust their intuition about the actions they take at work so they can complete certain tasks without deliberation when needed. Ambition. These professionals are driven by setting and achieving goals. They also know when to set higher goals that are still realistic for themselves and their team. Resilience. Self-starters know how to move past difficulties and find alternative solutions to accomplish objectives. They are also better capable of adapting to changes and revising their personal processes to improve efficiency. Responsibilities Maintain, optimise and grow our YouTube and Facebook accounts (KPI's are audience growth, followers and subscribers.) Edit high-quality video content for our training portal, social media platforms, and advertising campaigns. Create compelling image and text content and post using provided images and ChatGpt. Collaborate with directors (who create the raw content), ensuring content is engaging, visually appealing, and aligned with our brand identity. Manage and organise raw and edited media files systematically. Optimise content for social media, ensuring best practices are followed. Adhere to a 30-day content creation and posting schedule. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media marketing. Maintain attention to detail and deliver projects efficiently within deadlines. Essential Requirements: Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to be a self-starter efficiently and autonomously. Proven experience as a Social Media Expert with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficiency in creative software suites - Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, etc.), Descript, Canva, Filmora, Capcut or anything similar. Familiarity with Google Workspace (Chat, Meet, Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive), and Splashtop for streaming work. Create effective prompts on ChatGPT to produce authentic content, not just copy/paste. Excellent communication skills with a high level ability to speak and write clearly in English with a good understanding of punctuation and context. Demonstrated success in creating content that drives engagement and results on social media platforms. Highly organised and systematic in managing media files. Desirable Requirements: Additional skills in graphic design, article writing, and copywriting. Experience using AI tools to create content as needed. Prior experience with Consulting firms or Advertising agencies. Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices. Working Environment Remote Work: Will be connected via Google Meet call streaming with directors during work time to ask questions or be directed as per the daily tasks or workflow. Remotely connect into a secure work computer via Splashtop where all appropriate software and systems are available for work collaboration. Must have a stable internet connection with backup connection/power when necessary.
