Location: Ortigas Employment Type: Full-Time Work Setup: Hybrid (3x RTO, 2x WFH) Job Summary The HR Associate is responsible for the administration and implementation of employee compensation and benefits programs. The role ensures compliance with Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR), while maintaining accurate records and providing timely support to employees. Key Responsibilities 1\. Compensation Administration Assist in payroll preparation by gathering, validating, and monitoring employee data (attendance, leaves, overtime, allowances, deductions). Ensure accuracy of statutory deductions, loans, and other company benefits. 2\. Benefits Administration Administer employee benefits such as HMO, life insurance, leave credits, and wellness programs. Coordinate enrollment, eligibility, updates, and claims processing with benefit providers. Address employee inquiries related to benefits, claims, and reimbursements. Track leave balances, attendance, and benefits utilization. 3\. Government Compliance Process and ensure timely remittance of statutory contributions. Prepare and submit required government reports. Stay updated on Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. 4\. Employee Support \& Engagement Respond to employee queries regarding timekeeping, deductions, and benefits. Assist in conducting benefits orientation and information sessions. Provide guidance on government benefit claims and processes. 5\. Reporting \& Data Management Generate reports related to payroll, benefits, and employee data. Support HR audits and ensure proper documentation for compliance checks. Use HRIS or payroll systems for data management and reporting. Qualifications and Competencies Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. At least 1–3 years of experience in compensation \& benefits, payroll, or HR operations. Experience in handling Philippine statutory benefits is required . Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and government-mandated benefits. Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, data validation, reporting).
