Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Remote Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team and take ownership of core accounting functions across the full cycle. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, supporting timely close processes, and ensuring our ERP and accounting systems are used effectively. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on with modern accounting platforms and thrives in an environment where accuracy, process ownership, and cross-functional collaboration matter. What You’ll Be Doing: Own the full-cycle accounting process including AP, AR, general ledger, and month-end close Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries in NetSuite and/or QuickBooks Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances in a timely manner Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring proper coding and documentation across all entities Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules Manage vendor relationships, process payments, and handle AP aging and cash flow reporting Support annual audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors on requests and schedules Assist with system configuration, chart of accounts maintenance, and workflow improvements within ERP platforms Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls What You’ll Need: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2–5 years of accounting experience in a corporate, advisory, or public accounting environment Hands-on proficiency with NetSuite and/or QuickBooks — you can navigate these platforms without hand-holding Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and the full month-end close cycle Advanced Excel skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling basics Experience maintaining a general ledger across multiple cost centers or entities Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of catching and correcting errors proactively Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines, especially during close periods What Will Set You Apart: CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification Experience with multi-entity consolidations or intercompany eliminations Familiarity with AP automation tools such as Bill.com, Tipalti, or Concur Prior experience with ERP implementations or system migrations About Atticus: Atticus Advisory Solutions Inc. is a specialized remote staffing and IT offshoring firm based in the Philippines, providing vetted, high-quality Filipino talent to global tech startups, SMEs, and consulting firms, focusing heavily on niche areas like ERP (NetSuite), Accounting and Finance and IT, offering integrated recruiting, upskilling, and HR support to ensure high retention and reliable offshore teams.
