About The Role You will turn technical products into writing that an experienced engineer actually wants to read, and you will own how that writing reaches the market. You work from your residence via remote arrangement with no requirement to relocate to Singapore. You will have a scheduled check-in with the Director each week to agree priorities and review output, and will travel to Singapore twice a month, which will be arranged and paid for. Key Responsibilities Write product datasheets, application notes and technical articles that explain what our products do, who needs them, and why they are the right choice Read supplier datasheets and specifications, ask the right questions, and turn dense technical material into clear English Write website copy, case studies and campaign material across our companies Run the content calendar and publishing schedule across LinkedIn and other social platforms Brief and manage freelancers or agencies for video, design and motion graphics work, and hold them to deadline and quality Track what performs, tell us what you have learned, and change the approach accordingly About you Clear technical English writing is non-negotiable Genuine curiosity about how things work; you do not need an engineering background, but you need to enjoy learning this material and be willing to dig into a specification sheet on your own The ability to run without being pushed; you will get a weekly check-in and a clear set of priorities, and between those check-ins you are expected to make decisions, chase people for information and move work forward without waiting to be asked Comfortable working across time zones and cultures, with English as the working language Experience in engineering, industrial, maritime or B2B sectors preferred Confident use of AI writing and research tools, with the judgement to edit their output rather than publish it preferred Design tools such as Canva or Photoshop preferred Video editing such as CapCut, Premiere or DaVinci Resolve preferred Hands-on experience running social platforms for a business preferred About Us Bergen Security is a Singapore-based company operating since 2012 within an engineering and distribution group (2007). We serve two connected markets. We design high-performance surveillance systems for industrial and hazardous environments, including AI-powered IP cameras and explosion-proof CCTV built to international certification standards. Alongside this, our group distributes specialist telecommunications and industrial products into maritime environments, supplying shipyards, system integrators and EPC contractors worldwide.
