Description The Senior SEO Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our content strategy to enhance our online presence and drive traffic to our websites. You’ll be writing and optimizing pages daily, so strong writing is as important as technical SEO skill. The ideal candidate will have experience with keyword research, off-page SEO, competitive analysis, and various digital tools to improve website performance. Experience with staffing companies, talent marketplaces, ecommerce websites, or platform-style websites is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Optimize website pages, blogs, landing pages, and service pages for on-page SEO Create SEO content plans for scalable website pages, ensuring repeatable page structures remain unique, useful, and not duplicated across the site Write and optimize human-first content that is structured in a way that can also support visibility in AI search results Structure content using logical headings, internal linking, and information hierarchy to improve search performance and conversions Identify and resolve keyword cannibalization, duplicate content, outdated content, weak pages, and missed internal linking opportunities Build and execute backlinking strategies to improve search engine rankings Work with developers to implement technical fixes and SEO-friendly site architecture Monitor and fix technical SEO issues related to crawlability, indexing, filtered pages, core web vitals, and site structure Recommend when to create a new page, update an existing page, merge similar pages, redirect pages, or remove pages that no longer support SEO or conversion goals Use SEO and analytics tools to track rankings, traffic, leads, website performance, and SEO impact Requirements 4+ years of SEO experience, with at least 1 year in-house or agency Strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, off-page SEO, and content marketing Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to write clearly and persuasively for a U.S. audience Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Microsoft Clarity Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in web analytics tools like Google Analytics and understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) Ability to perform competitive analysis and derive insights to improve content strategy Preferred Experience working with a staffing company, recruiting agency, or talent marketplace Experience writing content for marketplace or platform-style websites (browsing, service categories, self-service models) System And Work Setup Requirements A stable and high-speed internet connection preferably 25 MBPS or higher with backup in cases of power interruption or service provider issues.
