Marketing Consultant Job Type: Part-Time / Remote Location: Remote Schedule Flexible / U.S. Time Zone Industry: Hospitality / Glamping / Short-Term Accommodation About The Role We are looking for a Marketing Consultant to help improve the online visibility, customer reach, and overall marketing performance of a growing glamping and hospitality business. This role is ideal for someone with practical experience in digital marketing, SEO, social media advertising, lead generation, or online customer acquisition who can provide ideas, recommendations, and hands-on marketing support. You do not need to be an expert in every area of digital marketing. We are looking for someone who understands the basics well, can identify opportunities, and can recommend practical ways to improve marketing results. Key Responsibilities Review current marketing activities and suggest areas for improvement. Help develop simple and practical marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer inquiries. Support Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns and recommend improvements when needed. Assist with SEO and online visibility , including keywords, website content, and local search. Review website and social media performance and identify opportunities to improve customer engagement. Help improve the customer journey from discovering the business to making an inquiry or booking. Research competitors, customer trends, and potential target audiences. Provide recommendations for social media content, promotions, and online campaigns. Monitor basic marketing results such as traffic, leads, inquiries, bookings, and campaign performance. Work with the team to test new marketing ideas and improve what is already working. Provide simple reports or updates on marketing activities and recommendations. Stay updated on relevant digital marketing trends and opportunities. What We're Looking For Experience in digital marketing, marketing consulting, SEO, paid advertising, social media marketing, or a related field . Practical experience with Google Ads and/or Meta Ads is preferred. Basic understanding of SEO and online customer acquisition. Ability to understand marketing data and turn it into practical recommendations. Good communication and writing skills. Strong research and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely. Comfortable working with an international/U.S.-based team. Hospitality, tourism, real estate, property management, or glamping experience is a plus but not required . Preferred Skills Experience with any of the following is an advantage: Google Ads Meta Ads / Facebook Ads SEO Google Analytics Google Search Console Social Media Marketing Lead Generation Content Marketing CRM or marketing automation Website analytics Conversion optimization What You'll Do in This Role You will work with the team to look at what is currently being done, identify what can be improved, and recommend practical marketing actions that can help generate more visibility, inquiries, and bookings. This is not a role where you are expected to do everything yourself. We are looking for someone who can bring marketing knowledge, provide direction, and help the business make better marketing decisions.
