Position: Staff Accountant Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST) Full-Time, Remote Work. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounting functions across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting ongoing process improvements. Key Responsibilities Perform full-cycle accounting activities across multiple entities. Manage accounts payable (AP) posting and cash postings. Prepare and post payroll journal entries. Record and maintain accruals. Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows through automation and AI-driven solutions Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 3-5\+ years of accounting experience with hands-on full-cycle accounting responsibilities. Strong experience with: + Accounts Payable (AP) + Cash postings + Payroll journal entries + Accruals + Account reconciliations + Financial statement review Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Sage Intacct experience is a strict requirement. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities. Interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance efficiency and accounting processes. Preferred Qualities Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment. Process-improvement mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
