Position Summary We are looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant & Content Creator to help produce and manage our social media, video, graphics, website, and blog content. The ideal candidate is comfortable turning attorney notes, recordings, voice memos, and topic ideas into clear, professional, and engaging content while working closely with the owner and team. Key Responsibilities Content Creation Create social media content, including captions, short scripts, hooks, titles, calls to action, and post text for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts. Prepare content in English and Spanish as needed. Turn attorney notes, recordings, voice memos, and approved topic ideas into usable marketing content. Help prepare content based on legal updates, common client questions, and firm-approved topics. Maintain a professional, clear, and consistent tone across all platforms. Video Editing Edit short-form videos for social media, including subtitles, titles, transitions, basic graphics, and calls to action. Format videos for reels, stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and Instagram. Repurpose longer recordings into shorter clips. Organize video drafts, final versions, thumbnails, captions, and related files. Graphic Design Create and resize social media graphics, thumbnails, stories, and carousel posts using Canva or similar tools. Maintain consistent use of firm branding, colors, logos, and style. Prepare graphics for organic posts, boosted posts, website use, and general marketing campaigns. Social Media Management Maintain a content calendar. Schedule and publish posts across social media platforms. Monitor comments, performance, and engagement. Identify what content is working and suggest improvements. Support boosted posts and basic campaign preparation. Website & Blog Support Update website pages, blog posts, images, and videos. Format website content for readability and basic SEO, including titles, headings, meta descriptions, and internal links. Upload and organize approved website content. Flag content that may need updating. Research & Topic Support Monitor immigration news, government updates, public announcements, and common client questions for content ideas. Research trending topics and competitor content for marketing inspiration. Maintain a topic list for future videos, posts, blogs, and campaigns. Marketing Administration Keep files, graphics, scripts, captions, videos, and campaign materials organized. Maintain clear naming and folder structures. Track marketing tasks and deadlines. Support newsletters, email content, and basic CRM marketing tasks as needed. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a marketing assistant, content creator, social media assistant, digital marketing assistant, or similar role. Strong English and Spanish communication and writing skills. Experience editing short-form videos for social media. Experience creating social media graphics, thumbnails, stories, or carousel posts. Experience using Canva or similar design tools. Experience managing or supporting social media accounts for a business or professional organization. Strong writing skills for captions, short scripts, hooks, and post text. Ability to follow templates, instructions, and brand guidelines. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Reliable internet connection and quiet remote workspace. Available full-time during U.S.-compatible business hours. Able to provide portfolio samples of prior marketing, video, design, or social media work. Preferred Qualifications Experience with a law firm, professional services business, or U.S.-based company. Experience with WordPress or similar website platforms. Experience with Meta Business Suite, TikTok, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn, or scheduling tools. Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Descript, Canva, or similar tools. Basic SEO knowledge. Experience with email marketing, newsletters, or CRM tools. Comfortable using modern content creation tools, including AI-assisted tools, while following firm review and accuracy standards. Familiarity with immigration topics or immigrant communities is a plus, but not required.
