Our Specialized CAD Designer (CET Designer) will support commercial office furniture and workspace design projects. This is not a traditional CAD drafting role. The ideal candidate combines technical drafting proficiency with strong design sensibility, space-planning expertise, and the ability to create accurate, client-ready layouts using manufacturer catalogs within fast-paced turnaround requirements. He / She will manage multiple projects simultaneously, transforming design concepts into detailed commercial office layouts and drawings while maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency. Create commercial office space layouts and design solutions using CET Designer (Configura). Develop detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, installation drawings, and presentation-ready design packages. Utilize manufacturer catalogs and product libraries to specify furniture and workplace solutions. Build, maintain, and update manufacturer catalogs and product databases within CET Designer. Apply space planning principles to optimize workplace functionality, aesthetics, and client requirements. Produce accurate drawings, renderings, and documentation for client review and project execution. Ensure all drawings comply with client specifications, manufacturer standards, and project requirements. Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities, with workloads ranging from 5–20 active jobs at any given time. Meet strict client turnaround expectations, including 48-hour delivery deadlines. Collaborate with project managers, designers, sales teams, and clients to clarify requirements and implement revisions. Perform quality checks to ensure drawing accuracy, product compatibility, and design consistency. Qualifications Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple concurrent projects. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables. Strong understanding of commercial office design, furniture systems, and workplace space planning. Experience working with manufacturer catalogs and product specification tools. Ability to create accurate layouts, installation drawings, and design documentation. Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics, functionality, and spatial efficiency. Proficiency in reading floor plans, architectural drawings, and design specificationsKnowledge of commercial interior design principles. Experience creating and maintaining CET product extensions or manufacturer catalogs. Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design visualization software. Hands-on experience using CET Designer (Configura) is required. Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Drafting Technology, Engineering, or a related field With at least 2-3 years of proven experience creating office layouts, furniture plans, specification drawings, and client presentation packages using CET Designer.
