About The Role Join Profitmaster Global Outsourcing and work with a leading Australian accounting and advisory firm. We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong experience in Australian Accounting and Australian Taxation to support a diverse portfolio of business clients. In this role, you will prepare financial statements , tax returns , BAS/IAS , and management reports while ensuring compliance with ATO and ASIC requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare Financial Statements for Companies , Trusts , Partnerships , SMSFs , and Individuals . Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) , Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) , and Income Tax Returns . Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts and prepare End-of-Financial-Year (EOFY) journals. Prepare monthly management reports , payroll reports , and maintain Fixed Asset Registers . Process payroll , superannuation , Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting, and year-end payroll finalization. Prepare and lodge ASIC and ATO documents through online agent portals. Assist with entity setup , including ABN , TFN , Trust Deeds , and company constitutions. Prepare accountant letters and respond to client tax and compliance queries. Process accounts payable , accounts receivable , journal entries, and bank payments. Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies including the ATO , ASIC , and Revenue Offices. Resolve review notes from Managers and Partners while meeting budget and turnaround expectations. Support ad hoc accounting, taxation, and compliance projects as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in Australian Business Services Accounting . Strong knowledge of Australian Taxation , Accounting Standards , and financial reporting requirements. Experience preparing BAS , IAS , Financial Statements , and Australian Income Tax Returns . Working knowledge of GST , PAYG , Capital Gains Tax (CGT) , Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) , and Payroll Tax . Experience with ATO and ASIC compliance and lodgements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Xero , Microsoft Excel , Microsoft Word , and Australian accounting software. Knowledge of Division 7A , Trust Distributions , Family Trust Elections (FTE) , Deferred Tax , and Small Business Tax . Experience preparing Management Reports , Budgeting , and Cash Flow reports. Previous experience working with an Australian Public Practice or Business Services firm. CPA or CA qualification (completed or in progress) is an advantage. Why Join Profitmaster?
