This is a senior role — not data entry. You'll own the day-to-day finance function and help redesign and document the process so it runs cleanly long term. What you'll do Full-cycle Xero bookkeeping and daily bank reconciliation Supplier invoice processing and weekly payment run preparation Nominal coding, supplier rules and bank rules in Xero Monthly Profit \& Loss reporting Rent reconciliation — tracking tenant payments and landlord payments due Debt tracking and arrears chasing, including prep for weekly debt calls Quarterly VAT preparation (getting accounts clean and submission-ready for the accountant to file) Payroll administration support Allocating supplier invoices, labour and material costs to the correct jobs/properties (job costing) Reviewing, improving and documenting finance processes — writing clear SOPs an internal hire can follow Must-haves 5\+ years of bookkeeping/finance experience Xero Advisor certified (or equivalent demonstrable Xero expertise) Hands-on UK VAT preparation experience Confident getting messy accounts clean and submission-ready Strong with spreadsheets and attention to detail Proven ability to spot gaps in a process, fix it, and write step-by-step procedures Excellent written and spoken English (UK standard) Equipped with a stable internet connection and a dedicated remote work setup Fully committed to a full-time role, with no concurrent engagements with multiple clients Nice-to-have (not essential) UK property / lettings / property management experience Job costing experience Familiarity with Companies House admin and UK banking platforms (e.g. Bankline) Details Remote, Part-time, minimum 20 hours/week UK business hours: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm or 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Rate above standard VA roles, reflecting the seniority and skill required (between $6\.00 and $7\.00 per hour) Immediate start preferred Other Tools You Might Use: Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Communication: Google Mail, Google Meet, Outlook, Slack, Zoom, WhatsApp AI tools: ChatGPT, Gemini Time-tracking: Hubstaff Pay: Php360\.00 - Php430\.00 per hour Benefits: Pay raise Work from home Work Location: Remote
