About The Role As our Conversational AI & Automation Specialist, you will help convert business requirements into effective AI-powered customer experiences and automated workflows. Your work will include understanding the customer or business problem, designing conversation flows, writing and refining structured AI prompts, building chatbots and AI agents, connecting systems through automations, APIs and webhooks, testing how solutions perform in real conversations, identifying user experience problems and opportunities, and continuously improving results. A technically functional chatbot is not enough. The chatbot must also communicate naturally, ask the right questions, respond accurately, maintain context and guide the user towards the desired outcome. Key Responsibilities Conversational AI and Chatbot Development Design and build conversational AI chatbots for customer service, lead generation, qualification and appointment workflows. Develop natural, structured and effective multi-step conversation flows. Create and refine prompts that guide AI behaviour across different situations. Configure conversation logic, conditions, variables, validations and escalation rules. Design appropriate fallback and human handover processes. Improve chatbot engagement, clarity, tone and user experience. Review real conversations to identify problems and improvement opportunities. Help ensure AI responses are accurate, consistent and aligned with eachclient's requirements. AI Automation and Integrations Build and maintain business automations using platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier or similar tools. Connect chatbots and AI agents with CRMs, forms, databases, messaging platforms and internal systems. Configure APIs, webhooks and structured JSON data. Troubleshoot workflow errors, failed integrations and unexpected system behaviour. Help develop reusable workflows, templates and components. Recommend practical ways to automate repetitive internal and client processes. Voice AI Assist with building and improving AI voice agents. Configure conversation flows, prompts, actions and escalation processes forvoice interactions. Work with platforms such as ElevenLabs, Twilio, Vapi, Retell AI or similar toolswhere required. Test voice agents for comprehension, conversational quality and userexperience. Previous voice AI experience is desirable but not mandatory if you have strong chatbot and automation experience. Testing and Optimisation Test AI solutions across expected scenarios and unusual edge cases. Identify inaccurate responses, hallucinations, broken logic and poor user experiences. Review failed conversations and recommend corrective actions. Continuously improve prompts, workflows and conversation structures. Measure whether solutions are achieving the intended business outcome. Participate in quality assurance and pre-launch testing. Documentation and Collaboration Document prompts, workflows, integrations, decisions and system behaviour clearly. Create instructions that allow other team members to understand and maintain completed work. Collaborate with customer service, operations, quality assurance and management teams. Explain technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Communicate project progress, blockers and risks to the AI Projects Team Leader. Manage assigned tasks and meet agreed deadlines. Essential Experience Previous hands-on experience building or contributing to conversational AI,chatbot, AI agent or AI automation projects. Experience with at least two relevant AI or automation projects, at least one implemented for genuine business, client or operational use. The ability to clearly explain what you personally built, configured or improved. Experience creating structured prompts or conversation flows for multi-step interactions. Experience with at least one automation platform, such as n8n, Make, Zapier ora comparable tool. A practical understanding of APIs, webhooks and JSON. Experience using AI platforms or APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or similar. Strong written and spoken English. The ability to understand user behaviour and improve the conversational user experience. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to learn new tools independently. The ability to work effectively in a permanent work-from-home environment. Formal AI qualifications are not required. Demonstrated ability and real project experience matter more than certificates. Highly Desirable Experience Experience with any of the following would be beneficial: voice AI or AItelephone agents; ElevenLabs, Twilio, Vapi or similar; Voiceflow, Botpress or similar chatbot platforms; n8n, Make, Zapier; Airtable; CRM integrations; retrieval-augmented generation or knowledge-base systems; vector databases; JavaScript or Python; customer service, sales or lead-generation processes; conversational user experience design; AI evaluation, testing and monitoring. You do not need to have used every platform listed. We are more interested inwhether you understand the underlying concepts and can learn new platformsquickly. Your passion to learn and grow in the rapidly evolving AI landscape iskey. We are building a team of AI professionals who want to grow their skills,experience and future earning potential. This Role is Not Suitable If Your AI experience is limited to using ChatGPT for writing, research or general productivity. You have completed AI courses but have not contributed to actual projects. You have only created basic demonstration or training chatbots. You cannot explain what you personally built or contributed, or provideexamples of previous work. You are looking for freelance, part-time or short-term project work. You are not based in the Philippines, or unavailable during Philippine day-shifthours. You are not passionate about AI and are not looking to be challenged. What Success Looks Like (First Three Months) Understand our existing conversational AI systems and development processes. Build and improve chatbot conversation flows with limited supervision. Create or modify automations using n8n, Make, Zapier or similar platforms. Configure prompts, conditions, variables, APIs, webhooks and JSON payloads. Test solutions for accuracy, reliability and user experience. Identify and correct common prompt, logic and integration problems. Review real conversations and recommend improvements. Clearly document completed work and communicate with technical and non-technical team members. Take increasing ownership of internal and client-facing AI projects.
