Business Intelligence & Sales Analyst Department: Corporate / National Accounts Employment Type: Full-time Work Setup: Work From Home Schedule Night shift Job Overview We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence & Sales Analyst to turn sales, customer, product, pricing, distribution, and market data into actionable business insights. This role will support the National Accounts team by managing recurring reports and dashboards, conducting sales and market analysis, identifying trends and opportunities, and creating executive-ready and customer-facing presentations that support business growth and account strategy. Key Responsibilities Analyze sales performance by customer, product, market, geography, and time period. Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards covering sales, distribution, velocity, pricing, inventory, market share, productivity, and other KPIs. Clean, validate, import, and export customer and internal data for reporting platforms. Use IRI/Circana and Nielsen syndicated data to analyze market share, distribution, velocity, pricing, promotional performance, competitive activity, and category trends. Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify performance gaps, opportunities, and risks. Perform post-promotional analysis, including sales lift, trade-spending effectiveness, and execution results. Translate data findings into clear business implications and actionable recommendations. Develop executive-ready and customer-facing PowerPoint presentations. Support customer reviews, annual planning, line reviews, category reviews, and strategic sales initiatives. Collaborate with Sales Managers and cross-functional teams to address analytical requirements and business questions. Maintain standardized KPI definitions, reporting methodologies, and quality-control procedures. Validate data, reconcile conflicting sources, identify anomalies, and resolve reporting discrepancies. Improve reporting processes, dashboards, templates, and data-quality controls. Provide backup support for AFS entry, promotional calendar maintenance, and recurring promotion-related tasks. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems , or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in business intelligence, sales analytics, category management, CPG, retail analytics, or a related field. Advanced Excel proficiency , including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, nested formulas, charts, data validation, and large-data-set reconciliation. Hands-on experience with IRI/Circana and Nielsen syndicated data is highly preferred. Strong understanding of retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) analytics and performance metrics. Experience with Cognos, VIP, retailer portals, Power BI, Tableau , or similar BI/reporting platforms is an advantage. Strong PowerPoint and business storytelling skills. Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Spanish language skills are preferred but not required.
