Job Description Revenue Accountant / Billing Analyst Job Type: Full-Tim eWork Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 AM EST, with a 1-hour brea kSalary: $130 0 Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant / Billing Analyst to support our Finance team in a fast-paced digital media environment. This role will play a critical part in client billing, contract review, revenue tracking, collections support, and month-end close procedure s.The ideal candidate is someone with a strong accounting foundation who is also highly detail-oriented and comfortable owning the revenue / accounts receivable process from end to end to include reviewing client contracts, completing client administrative requests, identifying billing terms, and ensuring revenue is recognized and invoiced accurately. This role requires both analytical thinking and operational precisio n. Key Responsibiliti es:Review client contracts, SOWs, IOs, and billing terms to ensure accurate invoicing and revenue track ingMaintain billing schedules and monitor contract deliverables, milestones, and payment te rmsPrepare and issue client invoices accurately and tim elyTrack accounts receivable balances and support collections follow-up as nee dedPartner with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and contract questi onsAssist with revenue reconciliations and month-end close procedu resReview deferred revenue schedules and revenue recognition support fi lesMaintain organized documentation for audit support and internal contr olsAssist with commission support calculations and revenue reporting schedu lesSupport process improvements and help build scalable billing/accounting workfl owsEnsure data accuracy across accounting systems, trackers, and reporting to olsFlag contract inconsistencies, missing approvals, or billing risks proactiv elyCreate and manage revenue project IDs in Xero and prepare monthly revenue repo rts Qualifica t ions:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3–6\+ years of accounting, billing, revenue accounting, or AR exper ienceStrong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition con ceptsExperience reviewing contracts, billing terms, or client agreements pref erredExtremely detail-oriented with strong organizational s killsStrong Excel and Google Sheets profic iencyExperience working in fast-paced or high-volume environ mentsStrong written and verbal English communication s killsComfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Operations teamsAbility to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple projects simultane ously Preferred Exper ience:Media, advertising, agency, SaaS, or project-based billing expe rienceExperience with Xero, NetSuite, Ramp, or similar accounting toolsExperience supporting US-based companies or finance teamsFamiliarity with commission calculations and client revenue tr ackingPrior experience working in an offshore/shared services environment pre ferred Success in This Role Look s Like:Accurate and timely invoicing with minimal billing errorsStrong attention to contract details and paymen t termsImproved collections visibility and AR t rackingOrganized audit-ready docume ntationProactive communication around billing risks or discre panciesAbility to operate independently while supporting a fast-moving finance organ ization
