This is a dedicated position focused on accelerating the development of our next-generation platform and supporting our core staffing needs. In this role, you will be responsible for building high-quality, responsive web applications using a modern React-based stack while simultaneously supporting our cross-platform mobile application using Cordova. You will work closely with Backend, QA, Product, and Design teams to convert UI/UX designs into functional features, integrate APIs, and ensure seamless delivery across both web and mobile platforms. Technical Stack RequirementsNon-Negotiable (Day One Essential) Candidates must possess hands-on, production-proven experience in these core technologies. Absence of these skills will result in automatic disqualification: Web Frameworks: Next.js and React.js Languages: TypeScript and JavaScript Core UI Development: HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design UI Libraries: Refine Framework and Shadcn UI Mobile Development: Cross-platform mobile app development using Cordova Mobile Workflows: Working knowledge of iOS and Android build/development workflows within a Cordova environment Negotiable (Nice-to-Have) The following skills are secondary or can be readily learned or deepened on the job: Advanced customization of Shadcn UI and deep experience with the Refine framework Tailwind CSS for utility-first styling Experience with form handling, validation libraries, and state management tools Robust understanding of Git / GitHub branching and collaboration workflows Hands-on REST API integration experience Familiarity with the application publishing process for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store Basic knowledge of cloud deployment strategies Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to optimize workflows Primary Responsibilities Feature Development: Build, optimize, and maintain front-end web applications leveraging Next.js, Refine, and Shadcn UI. Mobile App Support: Develop and support cross-platform mobile features using Cordova for iOS and Android deployments. UI/UX Implementation: Translate UI/UX wireframes and designs into highly responsive, clean, and reusable components. API Integration: Connect front-end interfaces with backend infrastructure by integrating REST APIs and handling data flow efficiently. Quality \& Performance: Write clean, maintainable code adhering to established project architecture, coding standards, and best practices. Debug and optimize application performance across browsers and devices. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner actively with Backend Engineers, QA, Product Managers, and Designers to ensure alignment on requirements and delivery timelines. Team Fit \& Professional Alignment Collaboration: Proven experience working inside collaborative software development environments, effectively coordinating with QA, backend developers, and product owners. Reliability: High level of professional accountability, consistency in meeting delivery goals, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Adaptability: Ability to follow existing coding standards, quickly adapt to established project workflows, and embrace continuous technical feedback. Contractors handle their own taxes, individual equipment, and localized benefits. Location \& Right to Work: This position is strictly open to local applicants who are citizens of the Philippines, currently residing in the Philippines, and legally eligible to work full-time as independent contractors. We are not considering international candidates or offering visa sponsorship for this role. Language \& Communication: Full professional fluency in both English and Filipino is required. Candidates must be able to collaborate effortlessly and switch between both languages during day-to-day internal team chats, stand-ups, and documentation reviews. Schedule \& Working Hours: This role requires a permanent work-from-home setup under an Independent Contractor framework, maintaining a reliable overlapping schedule with local and client teams. This includes regular US-hour overlap windows (typically 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM Manila Time ) for client-facing engagements as needed. Hardware \& Work Environment Setup: Candidates must use a dedicated laptop or desktop setup. Work via mobile phones, tablets, or handheld devices is strictly prohibited. You must have a working camera for team syncs, a stable high-speed internet connection, and a quiet, professional remote workspace.
