About Scale Suite Scale Suite (www.scalesuite.com.au) is a Sydney-based outsourced finance team for growing Australian businesses. We run weekly bookkeeping, BAS and management reporting as an embedded team inside our clients' businesses. We are CA-qualified, Xero Certified and registered BAS Agents. We work as one team. This role owns the accuracy of our clients' Xero files: the reconciled, correctly coded numbers our analysts and accountants build everything else on. You will own the integrity of the books, and this is a direct pathway into a Finance Analyst role. What you'll do Reconcile client Xero files and keep ledgers clean, accurate and current. Monitor and maintain bank feeds and banking connections, and fix broken or duplicated feeds. Manage the accounts payable workflow and the integrations between Hubdoc, Dext, the client and Xero. Run weekly reviews across client files to catch errors early. Correct GST treatment on transactions that have been coded incorrectly. Prepare and follow up unidentified transactions so they can be coded correctly. Review profit and loss statements and balance sheets, and feed your analysis back to our finance analysts. Flag issues, anomalies and risks to the senior team rather than letting them through. Two ways in Experienced: 1 or more years of hands-on bookkeeping, Xero certified, working knowledge of GST treatment in Xero, and experience with other tools that sync with Xero. Exceptional graduate: a top academic record with latin honors, you become Xero certified or certified before you start, and the raw ability to learn fast and work your way up. No experience required. What everyone needs Xero certified, or certified before your start date. This is a must. Strong reconciliation skills and a high bar for accuracy when transaction volume is high. Confident in Excel and Google Sheets. Organised and self-directed. You work to deadlines without being chased. A reliable remote setup: stable internet and a quiet place to work.
