Full-Time | 40 hours per week | 8hrs a day | U.S. Pacific Time hours We’re looking for an experienced Ecommerce Ad Video Editor who can turn scripts into engaging, performing ads for social media. This role is focused on execution and creative problem-solving — translating scripts into compelling visuals that drive engagement and conversions. You’ll collaborate directly with the Founder to produce ad creatives that follow proven concepts and inspiration. What You’ll Be Doing Your core responsibility is to turn scripts into compelling ads for social media platforms. This includes: ● Editing short-form video ads for platforms like Meta and TikTok● Creating image ads and video ads based on provided scripts● Translating scripts into visual storytelling and engaging ad concepts● Recreating inspiration videos and ad formats using the provided scripts and benchmark ads (you will be trained on our taste and brand)● Sourcing visuals, stock footage, or UGC when needed (subscriptions for access to stock visuals and footage will be provided)● Developing original visual ideas when the script requires it● Assembling assets into a final polished ad ready for testing When video footage is required, you may request creator assets. Motion design will be minimal, and most motion-based effects can be achieved using AI tools. The primary focus is fast-paced editing and strong visual concepts that keep viewers engaged. Skills & Tools You should be comfortable working with: ● Premiere Pro for video editing● Photoshop for graphic design and ad visuals● Canva for quick creative production Required skills: ● Strong social media video editing skills● Strong graphic design background● Ability to turn scripts into visual concepts● Fast-paced editing with engaging pacing and hooks● Ability to recreate successful ad formats and inspiration● Comfortable with slightly above basic editing● Experienced with timeline editing, transitions, audio mixing, color correction, and motion graphics● Basic motion design knowledge is sufficient Non-Negotiables Proven experience editing ads/performance creatives Video editing + graphics background Minimum 3 years of experience in video editing Experience creating ads for Meta, TikTok, or other social platforms Experience in Higgsfield AI Experience ● 3+ years of video editing experience, preferably for social media or ecommerce ads● Experience producing short-form content or performance ads● Familiarity with AI tools for creative production is a plus ● Comfortable with slightly complex editing, and experience in working with AI animation videos Who This Role Is NOT For This role is not suitable for: ● Cinematic or long-form editors● Motion designers focused on heavy animation● Candidates without graphic design skills● Editors who need constant step-by-step direction Role Structure ● Individual contributor role (no team management)● Reports directly to the Founder● Collaborative environment with ongoing feedback and creative direction You’ll be expected to bring social media instincts, editing skills, and design ability from day one.
