About The Role • We are seeking an experienced Insurance Quoter / Insurance Market Specialist to join our team in a fully remote, work-from-home role. • This position is ideal for an insurance professional who understands the Australian insurance market and can independently review client insurance schedules, engage insurers and underwriting agencies, and obtain competitive quotations across a range of commercial insurance products. • You will play a critical role in supporting our advisers by sourcing quality insurance options, negotiating with insurers, and presenting comprehensive quoting outcomes that help clients make informed decisions. What You'll Do • -Review client insurance schedules and policy documentation. • -Analyse current insurance arrangements and identify quoting opportunities. • -Prepare market submissions for insurers and underwriting agencies. • -Approach insurers to obtain competitive quotations and alternative coverage options. • -Follow up with insurers and underwriters to ensure timely quote delivery. • -Compare quotations and prepare clear coverage summaries. • -Review policy terms, endorsements, exclusions, and pricing structures. • -Negotiate with insurers to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. • -Maintain accurate records of all market approaches and quotation activity. • -Support advisers and account managers with renewal and new business opportunities. • -Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurer representatives and underwriters. • What You Should Have • - Strong internet connection, microphone, headphones, and a computer or laptop with at least 8GB RAM • -Minimum 3 years' experience in insurance broking, underwriting, or insurance quoting. • -Strong knowledge of the Australian insurance market. • -Experience obtaining quotes directly from insurers and underwriting agencies. • -Ability to read and interpret insurance schedules and policy wordings. • -Experience across commercial insurance products, including: • Business Insurance • Property Insurance • Public & Products Liability • Professional Indemnity • Cyber Insurance • Management Liability • Commercial Motor • Trades and SME Insurance Packages • -Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. • -Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities. • -Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple quoting opportunities simultaneously.
