DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to support our software development and deployment processes by maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and assisting developers with application environments. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of software development workflows, hands-on experience with AWS services and containerization, and the technical ability to troubleshoot day-to-day operational issues. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with software developers to support application development, deployment, and operational processes. Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines. Assist developers in resolving local development environment and deployment issues. Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and deployment processes. Deploy, configure, and maintain applications in AWS cloud environments. Manage Docker containers and support containerized application deployments. Monitor system performance, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis. Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and deployment issues across development and production environments. Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks. Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and deployment efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or a similar role. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps methodologies. Experience writing automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or JavaScript . Hands-on experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar tools . Practical experience with AWS cloud services , particularly EC2, S3, and RDS . Experience working with Docker and containerized application environments. Ability to read application code and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot deployment and environment-related issues. Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, command-line tools, and basic networking concepts. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
