As our portfolio scales, we are expanding our Legal & Collections operations and seeking a detail oriented, Litigation Paralegal to join our team. Position Overview As a full time Litigation Paralegal, you will collaborate closely with our Collections Team, Court Advocates, and Head of Recoveries and Legal to oversee individual litigation and bankruptcy cases from inception to conclusion. This role is ideal for a structured professional who excels at managing legal workflows, interpreting procedural rules, and ensuring full regulatory compliance across the UK enforcement lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Case Management & Documentation Draft, review, and refine financial and legal instruments, including Fixed-Term Loan Agreements, Personal Guarantees, Debentures, and enforcement documentation. Prepare and process court filings, including County Court Judgments (CCJs), Statutory Demands (SD1/SD2), Bankruptcy Petitions, Charging Orders, and relevant application forms (e.g., N244, N379, N323, N337). Assemble and maintain comprehensive case bundles, hearing packs, and trial documents. Legal Process & Court Administration Coordinate formal service of documents, including personal service, substituted service, and liaison with external process servers. Monitor critical court deadlines, procedural milestones, and hearing dates with high accuracy via a case management system. Assist court advocates by organising evidence, exhibits and trial preparation documents. Research & Compliance Review relevant case law, civil procedure rules, and evolving enforcement standards to strengthen case strategy and recovery outcomes. Ensure strict adherence to UK commercial lending regulations and internal corporate compliance policies. Cross Team Collaboration Partner with the Collections Team to evaluate repayment strategies and facilitate early resolutions. Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, customers, brokers, and external legal counsel. Maintain meticulous case notes, documentation, and system updates within internal databases. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a closely related field. Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of professional paralegal or legal assistant experience, with specific familiarity in UK civil procedure, debt recovery, or insolvency preferred. Core Competencies: Comprehensive understanding of litigation, contract law, and debt recovery processes. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills. Organisational Skills: Superior attention to detail, exceptional time management, and the ability to multitask effectively within a fast-paced environment. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, legal case management software, and document automation platforms. Compensation & Benefits Competitive monthly salary (₱25,000.00 – ₱60,000.00).
