Technical Project Manager (AI & SaaS Delivery) About the Opportunity We're looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of AI-driven software projects within a modern SaaS environment. This position focuses on transforming product concepts into production-ready solutions by coordinating engineering, AI, data, QA, and integration teams through every stage of delivery. Rather than owning product strategy, this role is dedicated to ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, risks are managed proactively, and cross-functional teams remain aligned throughout execution. The ideal candidate is organized, technically minded, and comfortable managing both traditional software projects and AI-enabled initiatives. Key Responsibilities AI Project Delivery Coordinate the execution of AI-powered product initiatives, including automation, analytics, reporting, and intelligent decision-support features. Ensure AI initiatives move smoothly through planning, development, testing, validation, and production deployment. Collaborate across engineering, AI, data, QA, and integration teams to keep projects on track. Monitor AI-specific delivery risks such as data quality, model readiness, regulatory compliance, and technical dependencies. Help transition successful AI prototypes into scalable production solutions. Technical Project Management Convert product roadmaps into practical project plans with achievable timelines. Coordinate work across backend systems, APIs, integrations, databases, and AI services. Lead sprint planning, release coordination, and cross-functional project execution. Track milestones, project health, resource allocation, timelines, and potential delivery risks. Maintain consistent delivery standards across software and AI initiatives. Governance & Compliance Support project governance by maintaining documentation and delivery processes. Help ensure AI initiatives comply with organizational expectations around: Data privacy Security Access management Audit readiness Explainability Work closely with technical teams to establish acceptance criteria and production readiness. Stakeholder Communication Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders. Clearly communicate timelines, progress, blockers, risks, and dependencies. Translate technical and AI-related topics into language that business stakeholders can easily understand. Facilitate collaboration between product, engineering, QA, data, and business teams. Delivery Strategy Recommend realistic implementation approaches and project sequencing. Identify delivery risks early and create mitigation strategies. Help establish scalable delivery processes that support future SaaS and AI growth. Qualifications Required Experience Minimum of 6 years in Technical Project Management, Delivery Management, or Program Management. Demonstrated experience delivering B2B SaaS platforms or enterprise software solutions. Strong understanding of Agile development practices and modern SDLC methodologies. Proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives involving multiple technical teams. Excellent planning, scheduling, execution, and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively. Ability to balance multiple priorities across concurrent projects. AI Knowledge Understanding of AI and machine learning development lifecycles. Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-enabled applications. Knowledge of model deployment considerations, data readiness, and AI implementation processes. Experience coordinating projects involving: AI Engineers Data Scientists Data Engineers Analytics Teams Comfortable managing projects that involve experimentation, iteration, and evolving requirements. Familiarity with MLOps, AI governance, or model monitoring. Previous experience within HRTech, Workforce Management, Payroll, or other regulated industries. Experience supporting enterprise clients and contractual delivery commitments. Exposure to large-scale analytics or enterprise data platforms.
