We are currently hiring a Construction Estimator (Virtual Assistant) with proven experience in construction estimation, material takeoffs, and cost analysis. Job Role The Construction Estimator (Virtual Assistant) will play a key role in supporting pre-construction planning by preparing accurate material takeoffs, developing project cost estimates, and assisting with bid preparation. This position works closely with project managers and estimators to analyze drawings, review project requirements, identify potential cost risks, and help produce competitive and accurate project proposals. Job Responsibilities Project Estimation \& Cost Analysis Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from project plans Prepare material, labor, equipment, and project cost estimates Develop pricing breakdowns and support bid preparation Assist in preparing competitive project proposals Verify project scope and identify missing or incomplete information Perform cost comparisons and value engineering when appropriate Technical Review Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents Analyze project requirements and construction methods Identify potential cost risks and estimation discrepancies Review technical documents to improve estimate accuracy Support revisions when project drawings or specifications change Research \& Vendor Coordination Research current material pricing and market trends Obtain pricing information from vendors and suppliers Compare supplier quotations and recommend cost-effective options Maintain organized pricing databases and estimation records Reporting \& Administrative Support Prepare estimation reports and bid summaries Maintain organized project documentation Update historical cost databases and unit pricing information Collaborate with project managers and estimators to meet bid deadlines Participate in project meetings as needed Job Qualifications Previous experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, cost engineering, or a similar role Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical plans Experience performing quantity takeoffs and preparing construction cost estimates Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project deadlines Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience using digital takeoff software such as Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar tools Familiarity with CAD viewers and digital measurement software Understanding of construction materials, labor costing, and estimating principles Knowledge of CSI MasterFormat or similar construction classification systems Experience with Autodesk Revit, BIM software, or related construction technology Background in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is an advantage Job Requirements Experience using construction estimation software and Microsoft Excel Reliable computer (Intel i5/i7 or equivalent) Noise-canceling headset Minimum 50 Mbps wired internet connection Work Schedule Full-time remote position Night shift: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM Philippine Time Important: We do not accept applicants who are currently employed full-time, seeking part-time work, on floating status, or currently rendering a notice period.
