Job Overview We are seeking a Mid-Senior Software Developer to join a growing SaaS development team focused on building scalable, secure, and high-performance business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and modern web technologies, along with a passion for developing robust software solutions and improving existing systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on a modern SaaS platform while contributing to architectural improvements, new feature development, API integrations, and the transition from monolithic applications to microservices. Key Responsibilities Software Development Develop, maintain, and optimize core platform modules and business applications Design and implement new features while maintaining existing functionality Collaborate on the migration from monolithic architecture to microservices Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices Backend Development Build and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and database performance Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between backend services and frontend applications Ensure efficient data handling across multi-tenant environments Frontend \& Mobile Support Enhance and maintain web applications using JSP, Angular, and modern frontend technologies Support mobile applications by contributing to JavaScript layers for Android and iOS platforms Collaborate with frontend developers to deliver responsive and user-friendly interfaces Integrations \& System Improvements Implement and maintain third-party integrations, including calendar, communication, project management, and payroll platforms Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making Collaboration \& Quality Assurance Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and support teams to deliver high-quality releases Write unit tests, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs efficiently Create and maintain technical documentation Utilize AI-assisted development tools (such as Cursor or similar platforms) to improve productivity and code quality Must-Have Requirements 4\+ years of experience in software development Strong proficiency in: Java Spring Boot PostgreSQL Experience with JSP, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks Solid understanding of REST APIs and JSON data handling Experience working with microservices architecture Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications Strong database design and query optimization skills Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar platforms Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment Strong written and verbal English communication skills Nice-to-Have Experience with OAuth 2\.0 authentication and third-party API integrations Familiarity with services such as Google Calendar, Twilio, Jira, or payroll systems Experience supporting Android (Java) and iOS (Objective-C/Swift) applications Knowledge of NFC technology or attendance/time-tracking systems Understanding of organizational structures, role-based access control, and multi-tenant SaaS architecture Experience using AI-powered development tools and coding assistants Ideal Candidate We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented developer who enjoys building scalable software, solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
