ROLE SUMMARY Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Resolution Analyst to support case preparation and financial analysis for IRS representation matters. This role is responsible for organizing client data, analyzing financial information, preparing case summaries, and supporting the Enrolled Agent with accurate, well-structured work. This is not a client-facing sales role. It is a behind-the-scenes, analytical position that requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to follow structured processes. LOCATION: Must be residing in the Philippines – Remote. ENVIRONMENT: Philippines and International Teams. WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Central Daylight Time (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays POSITION TYPE: Full-time WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Case Setup & Organization Create and maintain organized digital client files Ensure all required documents are collected and properly stored Track case status and identify missing items Maintain clean, consistent file structure across all cases Financial Analysis Review income, expenses, and assets Calculate estimated disposable income Identify financial patterns and inconsistencies Prepare financial summaries for review Transcript & Case Review Review IRS transcripts (training provided) Identify tax years owed and compliance status Flag issues such as unfiled returns or discrepancies Prepare concise case summaries for the Enrolled Agent Resolution Support Assist in identifying potential IRS resolution options Gather and organize information needed for final determination Prepare internal documentation to support case strategy Complete multiple years' tax returns per client, sometimes including bookkeeping Communication & Coordination Prepare clear internal notes and summaries Support the team by identifying next steps in each case Follow up on missing documentation (internally or via coordinator) Qualifications Must-Have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred At least 5 years of relevant experience in tax, accounting, bookkeeping, financial analysis, or related fields Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling financial data and documentation Ability to follow structured processes, SOPs, and case preparation procedures Strong organizational and analytical skills with a methodical approach to work Basic understanding of financial concepts, including income, expenses, liabilities, and cash flow Clear and professional written communication skills Ability to manage document-heavy and data-intensive tasks efficiently Highly Valued Experience supporting tax resolution, IRS-related, accounting, or financial casework Ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and internal processes Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues, inconsistencies, or missing information independently
