Senior AWS Solutions Architect (AI \& Cloud) Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Remote Level: Senior Reports To: Head of Engineering / Director of Cloud Services About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Solutions Architect – Agentic AI \& Cloud to lead the design and delivery of modern cloud and AI solutions for our clients. This role combines deep AWS architecture expertise with hands-on experience building and deploying generative AI and agentic systems in production environments. You will be responsible for architecting secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS environments, leading cloud migrations, conducting architecture reviews, and designing AI-powered solutions using the latest AWS AI services including Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore. This is a senior, client-facing role requiring both strategic thinking and technical execution. You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and customers to deliver enterprise-grade cloud and AI solutions. Key Responsibilities Cloud Architecture \& Strategy Design, implement, and optimize AWS cloud architectures for enterprise and mid-market clients. Develop multi-account AWS environments using AWS Organizations and Control Tower. Establish governance, security, compliance, and cost management frameworks. Lead cloud modernization and migration initiatives from on-premises and other cloud platforms. Conduct AWS Well-Architected Reviews and provide recommendations for improvement. Agentic AI \& Generative AI Solutions Design and deploy agentic AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore. Architect AI-powered applications leveraging foundation models, knowledge bases, retrieval systems, and workflow orchestration. Design scalable AI architectures that integrate with enterprise systems and business processes. Define patterns for AI governance, security, monitoring, and operational reliability. Support AI proof-of-concepts through production deployment. Security \& Governance Implement security best practices across AWS environments. Design identity and access management strategies using IAM and IAM Identity Center. Establish security monitoring and compliance controls using Security Hub, GuardDuty, Macie, and AWS Config. Ensure architectures align with organizational security and regulatory requirements. Technical Leadership Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to engineering teams. Participate in technical discovery workshops and solution design sessions with clients. Create architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and implementation roadmaps. Evaluate emerging AWS services and AI technologies for potential adoption. Extensive hands-on experience designing and operating AWS environments in production. Proven experience designing and implementing generative AI or agentic AI solutions in production environments. Strong expertise in AWS multi-account architectures, landing zones, governance, and security frameworks. Experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives. Deep understanding of networking, security, identity, and cloud operations. Experience conducting AWS Well-Architected Reviews. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Required Certification AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional Preferred Certifications AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty AWS Certified AI Practitioner or AWS AI-related certification AWS Certified Security – Specialty Preferred Experience Enterprise-scale cloud transformation projects. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. Agent orchestration frameworks and autonomous AI systems. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK). Managed services and ongoing cloud operations. FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices. Regulated environments requiring security and compliance controls.
