Employment Type: Project-Based / Full-Time — TBD Work Hours: To Be Determined Schedule PST Time Zone Work Setup: Remote Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Windows Automation Bot Developer to design, develop, and maintain a Windows-based automation application that monitors a designated webpage, detects available tasks, and automatically claims them based on configurable rules. The ideal candidate has strong Python and web automation experience , with knowledge of Windows application development, browser automation, error handling, logging, and system reliability. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain a Windows-based automation bot for monitoring and claiming available tasks. Build automated workflows for webpage refreshing, task detection, and task claiming. Implement configurable refresh intervals, notifications, and automation settings. Develop Start, Stop, and Pause controls for managing bot operations. Implement secure authentication and credential management. Add Windows desktop/taskbar notifications and optional sound alerts. Develop comprehensive activity and error logging for monitoring and troubleshooting. Implement safeguards against duplicate task claims. Ensure the application operates efficiently in the background or while minimized. Develop automatic recovery mechanisms for webpage failures and interruptions. Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Ensure compatibility with Windows 10 and Windows 11 . Provide complete source code, technical documentation, setup instructions, and post-deployment bug support. Qualifications Proven experience as a Python Developer, Automation Developer, RPA Developer, Software Engineer , or similar role. Strong Python programming skills. Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar web automation frameworks . Experience developing automation tools for dynamic websites and web-based interfaces. Strong understanding of browser automation, web interactions, and task scheduling. Knowledge of secure authentication and credential-management practices. Experience with logging, exception handling, debugging, and automated recovery. Familiarity with Windows notifications, background processes, and application lifecycle management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Able to work independently and manage project timelines effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience with C\ / .NET or Windows desktop application development. Experience integrating APIs into automation workflows. Familiarity with Windows background services and desktop applications. Experience with Git and version control. Knowledge of automated browser testing and application optimization.
