Role : Client Service Associate Work Arrangement : Work from Home Location : Any CS PH Branch — Makati/Ortigas/Pampanga/Cebu/Davao Schedule Night shift Job Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Talk to clients, employees, SSA offices, DDS employees, and anyone else involved in the process. Respond to clients primarily by email and text, and manage communications through phone, email, text, and online portal. Make sure claims are transferred from the SSA office to DDS for review. Check on the status of claims with DDS, including finding out the contact info for the medical examiner and where the claim is in the process. Update claims as needed, like treatment details, questionnaire statuses, and medical information. Understand the status of claims and communicate that clearly to clients. Get any necessary info from DDS and make sure legal paperwork is submitted. Provide emotional support to clients who may be stressed by long claim processing times. Client Interaction: Explain to clients how the claim process works, especially since it can take up to 2 years for initial claims and reconsiderations. Stay calm and professional when dealing with tough conversations, using patience, empathy, and de-escalation when necessary. Make sure client contact details are accurate, even if the client is upset, and explain why this is so important. Find the right medical facility using available resources. Transfer calls to the right department or person as needed. Be resourceful and detail-oriented, always looking for answers. Call Management: Keep control of calls, wrapping them up in a respectful and timely manner. Take clear, detailed notes to ensure claim information is accurate. Balance empathy with efficiency, as your bonus depends on how much work you get done compared to the hours worked. Handle rude or unprofessional behavior from SSA employees professionally, without taking it personally. Claim Handling: Manage claims at Disability Determination Services (DDS) level in addition to pending hearings, inactive claims, and post-hearing cases. You will not be handling completed claims that have already been approved. Non-negotiable skills and requirements: Prior working on a night shift schedule highly preferred Candidate must have strong control of the English language, and preferably with very minimal accent when speaking in English. The candidates should also take the eSkill assessment prior to being interviewed They will go through two interviews before being hired Must have their own Fiber connection at home, apart from the ISP that CS will install, this should serve as their back up.
