Job Type: Full-Time Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Mountain Time, with a 30-minute break Salary: $1,600 per month Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orient ed Senior Account ant to lead full-cycle accounting operations across multiple brands, including our furniture lines, online design services, and parent company entities. This high-ownership individual contributor role is responsible for managing month-end close, financial reporting, revenue recognition under ASC 606, intercompany accounting and reconciliations, gross margin analysis, and oversight of accounts payable and receivable processes, while ensuring full US GAAP compliance. This role supports a complex multi-entity business environment and requires strong technical accounting expertise, significant ASC 606 knowledge, intercompany accounting experience, and exceptional attention to detail. You will partner closely with the US-based Accounting Manager to support audits, tax compliance, and process improvements, driving accuracy, operational efficiency, and strong financial visibility across a multi-entity environment . Key Responsibilities Month-End Close & Financial Reporting Execute full monthly close for multiple brands across furniture and services Prepare journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations Generate monthly financial statements and variance analysis Partner with US-based Accounting Manager on reporting and special projects Revenue & Operations Accounting Lead revenue recognition and accounting under ASC 606 for both product sales and design services Gross profit analysis and margin tracking Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple entities and brands Manage accounts payable workflow and vendor payments Support accounts receivable and customer billing Reconcile payment processors and banking accounts Compliance & Process Ensure GAAP compliance across all processes Assist with annual audit preparation and execution Support sales tax, franchise tax, and other compliance requirements Identify and implement process improvements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; 5+ years progressive accounting experience Prior US accounting experience strongly preferred Advanced Exce l skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas) Fluent English (written an d verbal) - you'll communicate daily with the US team Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles. Experience managing intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and multi-entity transactions Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a complex accounting environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Self-directed with a strong ownership mentality Own laptop/computer capable of running accounting software Stable high-speed internet connection for remote work Preferred Qualifications CPA or equivalent license NetSuite and/or QuickBooks Online experience (w e use both) E-commerce or retail industry experience Public accounting background (Big 4 or reg ional firm) Tipalti experience (AP automatio n platform) Shopify, Stripe, or Ramp experience Experience supporting complex multi-entity organizations with intercompany structures
