Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer L2 (Team Lead/Supervisor) to provide advanced technical support for end users while leading and mentoring the Desktop Support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting complex IT issues, maintaining desktop environments, supporting enterprise systems, and ensuring the efficient delivery of IT support services. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced technical support by troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware, software, operating system, network, and desktop-related issues. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, workstations, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals. Support and administer Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and remote desktop environments. Monitor system performance, perform preventive maintenance, and assist in deploying software updates, security patches, and new technologies. Manage and resolve IT support tickets while documenting troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and system configurations. Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Infrastructure Head when necessary and coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and equipment replacement. Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to Level 1 Desktop Support Engineers while ensuring service quality and knowledge sharing. Create and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and knowledge base articles to improve support processes. Participate in IT infrastructure projects, system deployments, hardware refresh initiatives, and technology improvement activities. Conduct user orientation or training on new technologies and IT systems when required. Recommend hardware and software upgrades that will improve overall system performance and operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or any related field. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, Desktop Management, or a similar technical support role. Experience managing, supervising, or mentoring a Desktop Support or IT Support team. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, macOS, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and desktop hardware troubleshooting. Experience using remote support tools and IT ticketing systems. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Certifications such as CompTIA A +, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are an advantage.
