Work Setup: Work From Home (WFH) Employment Type: Regular, Full-Time Shift: Day Shift Holiday: Manila Holidays About The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Coder to oversee coding operations, provide clinical coding expertise, and support healthcare data analysis. The ideal candidate has a strong medical background, advanced coding knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to interpret complex clinical documentation while ensuring coding accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of 2–3 medical coders, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met. Review and interpret complex clinical documentation for accurate medical coding. Perform clinical audits and coding sense checks on input and output files. Compare different DRGs and prepare assessment reports. Provide clinical support in analyzing claims data to generate actionable clinical insights. Engage with internal stakeholders to address coding-related clarifications and updates. Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and industry standards. Manage assigned market or portfolio while maintaining strong client relationships. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Medical or Allied Health field. Relevant medical coding certification with hands-on coding experience. Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II . Strong understanding of DRG coding and reimbursement methodologies. Solid knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology . Proven ability to interpret complex clinical documentation accurately. Experience in people management , client engagement, and supervising a team of 2–3 coders . Experience managing a market or portfolio is highly preferred. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., filters, VLOOKUP). Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
