We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Specialist who is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with hands-on experience in U.S. taxation, QuickBooks Online, and multi-company accounting . The Finance Specialist will manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records across multiple business entities, support U.S. tax compliance, and prepare reliable financial reports for management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting activities for multiple U.S.-based business entities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online . Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing activities. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses. Manage intercompany transactions and support consolidated financial reporting. Assist with U.S. tax preparation, compliance, and related documentation. Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and U.S. tax professionals as needed. Support accounts payable, payroll, expense management, and other finance-related activities. Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies, trends, and potential issues. Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy and compliance across all financial records. Required Qualifications Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or certification. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience , preferably involving multiple companies or entities. Demonstrated hands-on experience with U.S. taxation and tax compliance . Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online . QuickBooks Desktop experience is not required. Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) . Experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures. Experience preparing financial statements, account reconciliations, and management reports. Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting and consolidated reporting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets . Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple companies, priorities, and deadlines with minimal supervision. High level of accuracy, integrity, discretion, and attention to detail. Willingness and ability to work U.S. business hours . Preferred Qualifications Experience working directly with U.S.-based companies or clients . Familiarity with U.S. corporate, partnership, payroll, and sales tax requirements. Experience supporting external audits and working with U.S. tax professionals. QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification. Experience with payroll, expense management, accounts payable, or financial reporting platforms. Experience working in a remote or outsourced professional-services environment .
