Ensure compliance with government regulations, contracts, tenders, and tariffs Collaborate with overseas agents, international freight forwarders, steamship lines, customs brokers, and port agents based on need and situation. Assist with the processing of all documentation Track and pull schedules for shipments Select NVOCC’s, port agents, and customs brokers Export clearance of POV’s (Personally Owned Vehicles) from the United States (working directly with US Customs & Border) Assistance with rate filings Assist with quoting OTO’s (One-Time-Only) rates Assisting management with various projects as needed Requirements English language proficiency is a must GSA experience Bachelor’s degree is preferred Specific industry experience or prior Transportation or Logistics experience preferred High level of interpersonal communication skills, oral and written Willingness to work US business hours, depending on the time zone allocated MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general internet research skills Detail oriented, accurate, and possessing analytical capabilities Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and meet daily/weekly/monthly goals Ability to work independently/remotely with a sense of urgency Positive attitude and good team player
