Job Description

Work Set-up: Fully Remote | Nightshift Responsibilities Manage promotional plans, pricing, funding, and event details, ensuring accurate system entry and documentation. Review and validate promotional submissions, customer deductions, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance. Investigate, reconcile, and resolve deduction claims, discrepancies, and disputed transactions. Track open deductions, monitor aging reports, and coordinate resolution with Sales, Finance, AR, and Customer Service teams. Monitor trade spending, promotional performance, and financial risks, including duplicate claims and pricing issues. Reconcile promotional and financial data across systems and escalate unresolved variances. Support forecasting, demand planning, post-promotion analysis, and account activity reporting. Prepare recurring reports for sales and account management teams. Maintain SOPs, documentation standards, controls, and reporting processes. Serve as backup support for Business Intelligence reporting, KPI updates, and other assigned duties. Qualifications Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree At least 3-5 years of experience as Sales Support or Promotions & Deductions Specialist Experience or exposure to FMCG and F&B industry Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Strong planning, organization, and process improvement skills. Understanding of promotional planning, pricing, trade spending, customer claims, and deduction management. Experience researching, validating, reconciling, and resolving deductions through final resolution. Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, IF statements, SUMIFS, data validation, and data reconciliation. Proven ability to analyze and maintain accuracy across large datasets, deduction logs, aging reports, and multiple data sources. Strong attention to detail, documentation, and follow-through. Able to manage recurring deadlines and high-volume transaction workflows. Comfortable learning and using AFS, TradePro, Cognos, customer portals, and other company systems. Ability to identify and resolve documentation gaps, pricing discrepancies, duplicate claims, unauthorized deductions, and data inconsistencies. Strong investigative, root-cause analysis, and process improvement skills. Able to communicate professionally when requesting information, explaining discrepancies, and following up on unresolved issues. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Service. Ability to interpret business data, procedures, and company policies. Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
