This is a combined role, approximately 70% Quality Assurance and 30% Executive Assistant and business administration support. The QA work focuses on manual, user-level testing of custom software systems we build for our clients â working through real user flows, validating against business requirements, finding edge cases, and documenting issues clearly for our development team. The EA work supports our CEO and the day-to-day running of the business, including calendar, inbox, and client correspondence. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Test client software projects manually against documented business requirements Identify functional, UX, and regression issues across web-based applications Write clear, reproducible bug reports and GitHub issue cards Collaborate with developers to clarify requirements and verify fixes Contribute to test plans for new features and releases Manage the CEO's calendar, inbox, and meeting coordination Draft and handle client-facing administrative correspondence on behalf of the CEO Support internal business operations, documentation, and scheduling Minimum Qualifications 4â5 years experience in manual software quality assurance Proven ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports Experience providing executive or administrative support to a senior leader Excellent written and spoken English Proficient in Google Workspace and GitHub (or comparable issue-tracking tools) Reliable home internet and professional remote working setup Available 9amâ6pm Melbourne time (10am start during Australian daylight saving) Perks and Benefits Paid Vacation Leave Work from Home Required Skills Software Testing Usability Testing Quality Assurance Attention to Detail Email Support Time Management
