Position: Tagalog Language Expert Type: Contract Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Translate, localize, and review Tagalog content to ensure accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance. Collaborate with project managers and language experts to meet project requirements within deadlines. Evaluate and edit written materials for clarity, correctness, and adherence to style guidelines. Provide expert advice on Tagalog language usage, including idiomatic expressions and regional nuances. Assist in developing and maintaining language resources, glossaries, and style guides. Conduct linguistic quality assurance and participate in feedback cycles for continuous improvement. Requirements Have native or near-native proficiency in Tagalog and an excellent command of English. Have proven experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance. Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple tasks. Have in-depth knowledge of Tagalog grammar, orthography, and stylistic conventions.
