• We’re seeking an experienced Interior & Architectural Designer with previous Australian project experience for our 100% home-based role in the Philippines. This is a fully employed position with paid leave and great benefits for the right person. • Our Client • Our client is an established Australian Architectural practice with a reputation for delivering high quality designs across the hospitality, retail, commercial, and residential project sector nationwide. They are currently looking to grow their offshore team and so we’re seeking an AutoCAD based Architect who can deliver a broad range of projects in both a team and autonomous approach. • The Opportunity: • The Interior & Architectural Designer / Project Coordinator plays a dual role in the delivery of design and documentation services across hospitality, retail, commercial, and residential projects. You will apply both your design and specialist documenting expertise to deliver projects from concept to completion. Additionally, you will provide assistance with end to-end project management, ensuring workflow, consultant coordination, while ensuring client expectations are managed effectively. • About you: • As the suitable candidate you will have a background in delivering high quality commercial interiors projects in the hospitality and retail sector. You will also have experience of working on residential projects and be able to work across multiple projects moving between the two areas and balancing multiple projects. Duties • include: • Formulate design concepts for building interiors, including sketches, diagrams, and mood boards to create fully documented Architectural plans. • Select, specify, and recommend functional and aesthetic materials, furniture, and products. • Determining the objectives and constraints of the design brief by consulting with clients and stakeholders. • Create documentation that adheres to the Australian Standards. Requirements • An Architectural degree • Five years plus experience • Australian project experience is essential • Exposure to retail/commercial/hospitality and residential projects • First class AutoCAD skills • Able to manage multiple fast track projects • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English • Able to provide your own IT hardware for this WFH role • Our client is offering a highly competitive salary, as well as the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects.
