We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Revenue Cycle Specialist to support our Home Health and/or Hospice operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring clean claim submission through thorough pre-billing review , maintaining revenue integrity, and reducing denials. Pre-billing experience is REQUIRED for this role. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of payer requirements, and a proven ability to ensure billing accuracy before claims are submitted. Responsibilities Pre-Billing Audit Conduct detailed pre-bill audits for Medicare, Managed Care, and Commercial insurance claims Ensure all billing documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant prior to submission Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies before claims are billed Validate that clinical documentation supports billing and reimbursement requirements Ensure adherence to payer-specific rules and regulatory guidelines Maintain a clean claims process through strong pre-billing controls Accounts Receivable (AR) \& Denial Management Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely reimbursement Analyze and resolve denied, rejected, or underpaid claims Prepare and submit well-supported appeal documentation Identify denial trends and recommend preventive actions Reconcile payments and ensure accurate posting Follow up with payers on outstanding balances and claim status Compliance \& Process Improvement Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare, Managed Care, and Commercial payer rules Collaborate with clinical, billing, and operations teams to improve documentation quality Support internal audits and compliance initiatives Recommend process improvements to reduce errors and improve revenue cycle performance Requirements Minimum 2 years experience in Home Health Revenue Cycle Management Hands-on pre-billing experience is REQUIRED (non-negotiable) Experience in Home Health and/or Hospice billing workflows Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems such as Kinnser, KanTime, or Alora Plus Experience with clearinghouse platforms such as Waystar or Inovalon Strong understanding of: Insurance claims processing Medicare, Managed Care, and Commercial billing Healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements Demonstrated Experience In Claim denial management and resolution Appeals preparation and submission Payment posting and reconciliation High-accuracy claims review and validation Key Competencies Exceptional attention to detail Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement Why Cliniqon?
