Masters Wholesale
About Masters Wholesale Masters Wholesale is a wholesale distributor and installer of appliances, flooring, and plumbing, serving builders, general contractors, property managers, and designers across California and Nevada. In business since 1974, Masters operates across three customer segments — Builder, Property Management, and Retail / Showroom — supported by a Philippines-based Project Coordination team. Project management and supply-chain coordination are core functions of the business. Purpose of the Role The Project Coordination & Supply Chain Manager leads the entire Project Coordination team and owns the performance, development, and resilience of Masters' order-to-cash and project-delivery engine. This person pairs deep supply-chain and order-management expertise with strong people leadership: running the day-to-day operation while building a documented, cross-trained, and durable team that no longer depends on any single individual. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development ● Lead, coach, and develop a team of segment-specialized Project Coordinators across all three segments. ● Set clear performance standards, hold regular 1:1s, and manage to the metrics defined in the Project Coordinator role standards. ● Bring newly hired and junior coordinators to full productivity — with the patience to build skills and the rigor to hold the bar. ● Build a leadership bench and identify and develop a successor, so the team is never dependent on one or two individuals. Supply Chain & Order-to-Cash Ownership ● Own the end-to-end order-to-cash flow across all segments — scheduling accuracy, back-order and material-planning management, RMA / service resolution, 3PL coordination, and billing accuracy — through the coordinator team. ● Serve as the senior escalation point for complex supply-chain, scheduling, and service exceptions that exceed coordinator-level resolution. ● Ensure change orders, contracts, and project costs reconcile to NetSuite and stay within margin. ● Drive results in Order-to-Cash meetings; ensure the team is prepared, current, and accountable for every project and order. Resilience, Coverage & Cross-Training ● Build and operate a genuine cross-training and floater mechanism so coverage holds across all three segments during absences, earned vacation, peak volume, and turnover — with no gaps and no single points of failure. ● Ensure every segment's processes are documented as current, accessible SOPs, so any coordinator's book can be picked up without disruption. ● Stabilize and strengthen the Builder team, restoring depth and continuity to a segment recently affected by turnover. Process, Systems & Continuous Improvement ● Own and continuously improve coordination processes across NetSuite, Dispatch, and CRM. ● Drive documentation, standardization, and process-improvement and automation initiatives that reduce manual load and key-person dependency. Hiring, Talent & Cross-Functional Partnership ● Own recruiting, onboarding, and staffing decisions for the coordinator team, including future backfill and expansion hires. ● Partner with U.S. Sales / Account Management, Warranty, Material Planning, Service, RMA, and Finance to deliver the best outcomes for customers and Masters, keeping Sales in an intake and escalation role. Required Qualifications This role fails with only half the profile. The Manager must bring both of the following — neither is optional: 1. Supply-chain / order-management depth — demonstrated command of order-to-cash, scheduling, back-order and material planning, vendor / 3PL management, and ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred), ideally in distribution, construction, building products, or a comparable operations environment. 2. People leadership — a proven record leading and developing a coordination, operations, or customer-service team: building process discipline, coaching junior staff to standard, and managing to metrics. ● 5+ years in supply chain, operations, or order management, including 2+ years managing a team. ● Strong written and spoken English for daily collaboration with U.S. teams and, where needed, clients. ● Able to work a U.S. Pacific Time business-hours overlap. ● Comfortable in a fast-paced SMB environment with hands-on ownership. Preferred Qualifications ● Hands-on experience with NetSuite and dispatch / scheduling systems. ● Background in appliances, flooring, plumbing, building materials, or construction services. ● Track record standing up SOPs, cross-training programs, or process automation. Key Attributes ● Patient and rigorous — develops junior people without lowering the standard. ● Systems-fluent and detail-driven — without losing the relationship and judgment side of the work. ● Ownership mindset — treats documentation and continuity as core, not optional.
