We are looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our Azure-based data platform that consolidates high-volume data from multiple enterprise systems (HCM, CRM, and Financial tools). This role is a key contributor to our data foundation as we scale to support over 100,000\+ employees. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines in Azure Data Factory connecting enterprise platforms (Salesforce, PrismHR, Sage Intacct) into a centralized data platform. AI Maintenance: Maintain Linux-based AI pipelines built with modern LLM coding tools and ensure smooth operational workflows. Data Optimization: Develop and optimize data models to support enterprise-wide Power BI reporting and analytics for internal operations. Architecture Collaboration: Partner directly with external platform partners and internal product teams on architecture decisions and scalable infrastructure design. Quality Control: Establish and maintain strict data quality, monitoring, and proactive alerting mechanisms across all ingestion pipelines. Agile Delivery: Actively participate and collaborate within Agile/Scrum delivery cadences to meet sprint objectives. Basic Qualifications Experience: 5\+ years of hands-on experience building and managing data pipelines in Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, or equivalent). Shift Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours consistently to accommodate async-first collaboration across different global time zones. Core Competencies \& Technical Skills Expert SQL Skills: Mastery of complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and advanced query performance tuning. Platform Integration: Proven experience integrating complex enterprise ecosystems, specifically HCM, payroll, or financial platforms. Data Modeling: Solid, deep understanding of data modeling concepts tailored for high-performance analytics and reporting workloads. Technical Literacy: Familiarity with Linux server administration to support existing infrastructure. Working Style: Self-directed operator who can work independently in a fast-paced environment, comfortably raising blockers early while proactively proposing solutions. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Prior experience navigating PrismHR or similar payroll software ecosystems. Direct experience with AI implementation, fine-tuning, or pipeline maintenance. Experience working within a fast-paced, Private Equity-backed business structure. What's in it for you?
