US Senior Accountant – Infor M3 SpecialistJob Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented US Senior Accountant based in the Philippines to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience supporting US-based companies, a thorough understanding of US GAAP, and advanced proficiency with the Infor M3 ERP system. This position will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and multi-entity consolidation. The Senior Accountant will work closely with US-based finance leadership to maintain accurate financial records, strengthen internal processes, and deliver timely management reporting. Key Responsibilities General Accounting and Financial Close Manage general ledger activities and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes in accordance with US GAAP. Prepare, review, and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, allocations, and adjusting entries. Perform monthly balance sheet, bank, credit card, and general ledger account reconciliations. Maintain fixed-asset schedules, depreciation records, and supporting documentation. Record and reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple entities. Investigate accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items. Prepare monthly financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash-flow statement. Produce variance analyses and other financial reports for US management. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities within Infor M3. Review invoice matching, payment proposals, vendor balances, customer balances, and aging reports. Support payment processing, cash application, collections, and customer dunning workflows. Reconcile AP and AR subledgers to the general ledger. Assist in resolving vendor, customer, and transaction-posting discrepancies. Infor M3 ERP Administration Use the Infor M3 Financial Management modules, including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets, to perform daily accounting activities. Maintain accounting dimensions, cost centers, chart-of-accounts structures, and other financial master data. Run allocations, financial reports, reconciliations, and period-close processes within M3. Troubleshoot transaction and system-posting errors. Collaborate with internal IT teams and external implementation partners to improve accounting workflows and financial-data integrity. Help document and standardize Infor M3 accounting procedures and controls. Compliance, Audit, and Financial Planning Support Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for external audits and financial reviews. Assist with 1099 reporting, sales-tax documentation, and other US compliance-related processes under the direction of finance leadership or external tax advisers. Support budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, and profitability analysis by entity, division, location, or project. Help develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Identify opportunities to improve close timelines, reporting accuracy, and accounting efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of accounting experience supporting US-based companies or US offshore accounting operations. Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting. Hands-on experience using Infor M3 Financial Management modules , including GL, AP, or AR. Experience with month-end close, financial-statement preparation, account reconciliations, and journal entries. Experience with multi-entity or intercompany accounting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, complex formulas, and financial-data analysis. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet recurring deadlines. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with US-based stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Philippine CPA or US CPA certification. Experience with multi-entity consolidations. Experience with fixed assets, cash-flow reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Familiarity with US 1099 reporting, sales-tax processes, and external audit support. Experience improving or implementing financial workflows within Infor M3. Experience working in a shared-services, outsourcing, manufacturing, distribution, retail, franchise, or multi-location environment. Work Setup Remote position based in the Philippines. Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, professional workspace. Availability to maintain a consistent schedule with substantial overlap with designated US business hours. Working hours from 8am Pacific time to 5pm (USA time) Ability to participate in virtual meetings and communicate promptly with the US finance team.
