You’ll investigate technical issues, connect the dots across data and site behavior, and turn your findings into action. You’ll own the technical foundation behind SEO, from crawlability and indexability to site speed, structured data, tracking, and overall technical health. What you will be doing Investigate and troubleshoot crawlability, indexability, redirects, status codes, and technical site health Set up and maintain GA4, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and Microsoft Clarity Monitor Core Web Vitals and identify performance regressions and remediation needs Implement, validate, and maintain schema markup Configure and maintain XML sitemaps and robots.txt Set up and manage WordPress SEO plugins including Rank Math, Redirection, WP Activity Log, Link Whisper, IndexNow, and llms.txt Crawl websites to identify orphan pages, internal linking gaps, and other technical issues Identify image optimization issues , including oversized images, file formats, and missing alt text Support technical on-page implementation, including metadata, heading structure, and indexing verification Monitor SSL certificates and security issues Monitor backlink health , including spam signals and toxic links Conduct technical audits, document findings, and track technical implementations Provide technical data and findings to the SEO Strategist for monthly performance reporting.
