Job Description Manage and supervise a team of five (5) finance staff. Lead the month-end close process and achieve a five (5) business day month-end close. Prepare and review monthly financial reports. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations. Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reconciliations. Complete stock and inventory reconciliations. Perform GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) reconciliations. Prepare monthly prepayments reconciliations. Maintain fixed asset reconciliations (bi-annually). Prepare and lodge Australian BAS (Business Activity Statements) on a quarterly basis. Prepare and manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns annually. Monitor KPIs and assist in improving working capital performance, including reduction of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and internal controls. Coordinate with management and provide guidance to the finance team. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification preferred. At least 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably supporting Australian clients. Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant capacity. Proven experience supervising and mentoring staff. Hands-on experience with Xero, M1 (ECI System), Simpro, and Syft is required. Must have practical experience with the following: ▪Australian BAS preparation and lodgment. ▪Australian Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT). ▪Month-end and year-end closing. ▪General Ledger reconciliations. ▪Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reconciliations. ▪Stock/Inventory reconciliations. ▪GRNI reconciliations. ▪ Fixed Asset accounting. ▪Financial reporting and KPI monitoring.
