Job Description

AT A GLANCE The Business Solutions Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, development, and deployment of business models, templates, and operational solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across the organization YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY SME Partnership and Discovery Partner with subject matter experts to understand current processes, business requirements, and operational challenges. Assist in gathering, documenting, and validating requirements, assumptions, and success criteria for assigned projects. Analyze existing workflows to understand how business models and tools should align with them, and flag process improvement opportunities to Process Engineering rather than redesigning the process directly. Participate in stakeholder discussions and workshops to better understand business needs and desired outcomes. Escalate complex requirements, competing priorities, or project risks to the Senior Business Solutions Analyst as needed. Model and Template Development Build, enhance, and maintain business models, templates, trackers, calculators, and other operational tools using Excel and Microsoft 365 technologies. Develop solutions utilizing advanced formulas, Power Query, pivot tables, and structured data modeling techniques. Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities to ensure solution accuracy and reliability. Document model logic, assumptions, data sources, and user instructions to support sustainability and knowledge transfer. Continuously refine and improve solutions based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business requirements. Build business models and decision-support tools that align with defined processes, recommending practical solution options aligned with business requirements — collaborating with Process Engineering whenever the underlying process itself needs to be redesigned. Incorporate automation (e.g., workflow tools, RPA) and AI into these models where it improves speed or accuracy. Independently review and validate all AI-assisted or automated output against team quality standards before finalizing it Cross-Pod Collaboration Collaborate with departments and teams to integrate relevant data sources and reporting requirements into business solutions. Coordinate with MIS teams to leverage system-generated data and ensure alignment with existing technology platforms. Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for operational improvement Support cross-functional projects that require coordination between multiple BI&A functions and business stakeholders. Ensure developed solutions align with organizational standards, data governance requirements, and business objectives. Independently facilitate requirement gathering sessions, analyze business problems, document clear functional requirements, and validate requirements with stakeholders before implementation. Deployment and Ongoing Support Lead solution deployment activities, including user testing, implementation planning, documentation, and stakeholder training. Establish deployment environments using SharePoint, OneDrive, or other approved collaboration platforms to support operational ownership. Facilitate handover of completed solutions to business users while ensuring knowledge transfer and adoption. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, enhancements, and maintenance for deployed solutions as needed. Monitor solution performance and recommend improvements to maintain effectiveness over time. Conduct solution testing, evaluate whether business requirements have been met, analyze process performance, and recommend improvements based on business outcomes and user feedback. Communicate openly, share information, and contribute to solving day-to-day work and customer challenges YOUR TALENT Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical, modeling, or operations role involving Excel-based work Solid to advanced Excel skills: Power Query, advanced formulas, pivot tables, and structured data modeling — VBA and Power Automate exposure is a strong plus. Basic familiarity with SharePoint and OneDrive — able to navigate, structure, and organize files for team use. High attention to detail — catches logic errors and data inconsistencies before they become problems. Ability to document clearly — model logic, data sources, and assumption sets.
