The NDIS Client Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing client-related compliance, incident management, investigations, and regulatory reporting in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards and organizational policies. The role ensures incidents, complaints, and compliance matters are appropriately managed, documented, reported, and followed through to resolution while promoting participant safety, quality service delivery, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor client-related incidents, complaints, and compliance matters, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and reporting. Conduct investigations into incidents and compliance concerns, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventative actions. Assess and report NDIS reportable incidents to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission within required timeframes. Maintain accurate compliance records, investigation reports, and regulatory documentation. Coordinate and communicate with Case Managers, Support Workers, participants, families, guardians, and external stakeholders regarding compliance and incident matters. Monitor and follow through on corrective actions to ensure effective resolution and risk mitigation. Review incident and compliance trends and support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide guidance and training to staff on incident reporting, compliance requirements, and documentation standards. Support compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, safeguarding requirements, and organizational policies. Essential Skills and Experience Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, incident management, safeguarding, and reportable incident requirements. Experience in disability services, community services, nursing, social work, compliance, quality assurance, or a related field. Strong investigation, analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy. Work-from-Home Requirements Must own a dedicated computer or laptop capable of supporting daily work activities. Tablets, iPads, mobile phones, and other handheld devices are not acceptable as primary work equipment or backup devices. Must have a secondary computer or laptop available as a backup device to ensure business continuity in the event of equipment failure. Must maintain a reliable and stable high-speed internet connection and have a backup internet solution readily available (e.g., secondary broadband service or backup internet device) to minimize work disruptions. Must have a quiet, professional, and designated workspace free from excessive background noise and distractions, ensuring confidentiality, productivity, and professionalism during work hours. Must be able to participate in virtual meetings, training sessions, and stakeholder communications using video conferencing and collaboration platforms as required.
