POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a Finance Analyst to help support the accounting operations and financial reporting. Key responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights that help management make informed business decisions. The role serves as a bridge between financial information and strategic planning. OBJECTIVES Timely generation of accurate financial information to aid management decisions. Construction of Financial Analysis, Business Review, Planning and Reporting. Design, review, and update of accounting system procedures and policies. Formulate financial strategies. Develop and prepare management reports. Develop and prepare financial statements/reports. Develop and maintain policies and procedures. Develop and prepare budgets and financial plans. Develop and project cash flow forecasts. Develop and maintain accounting systems or reports (i.e Netsuite, Xero) to meet requirements. Develop and maintain finance-related policies and procedures. Analyze the financial status of the company. Prepare and arrange payroll for submission through Wise. Validate and process staff monthly commission for submission through Wise. Lead programs to improve the core business and profitability of the company. COMPETENCIES Familiar with “Profit First” Methodology Familiar with analytics tools such as NetSuite analytics warehouse or Hyperion. Present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets. Knowledgeable of GAAP principles 2 to 3 years of experience in Accounting with a financial planning and strategy background Has a background in solving financial problems and can dig into complex and ambiguous data sets to provide accurate reports Ability to understand and create complex financial forecasts and models Ability to analyze financial data and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows) Knowledgeable with the following platforms: Oracle Netsuite Woocommerce, eBay, Paypal Advanced to expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred but not required Preferably with experience in managing revenues greater than 15M USD for a US company Minimum of at least 2 to 3 years of work experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Finance Analyst role or Bookkeeping Prior work with a US-based product or manufacturing companies is preferred but not required Benefits Health insurance Dental Insurance Professional development assistance Paid leaves 13th-month pay Remote work setup WHO WE ARE Highland Park Lapidary is a company that makes equipment for artists, jewelers, and craftspeople to turn their creative visions into reality through gemstone and glass cutting and polishing.
