Job Title: Web Developer & AI Search Specialist Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm EST Location: Remote Industry: Local Services / Glass & Window Film Services (US Market) About The Role We are building out a nimble marketing and web team dedicated to launching and scaling online presences for window film and glass shops across the United States. We aren't looking for a pure web developer or a pure SEO strategist—we want someone who lives right in the overlap. You will be responsible for rapidly building clean, fast, mobile-friendly websites and ensuring those sites get cited and recommended on both traditional search engines (Google, Bing) and next-generation AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews). Key Responsibilities Web Development & Launch: Design, build, and launch clean, responsive, and ultra-fast websites using WordPress and Elementor (or similar CMS frameworks). Use templates to ensure fast project turnarounds while utilizing HTML/CSS to make custom code tweaks when needed. Technical & On-Page SEO: Implement schema/structured data, optimize Core Web Vitals/site speed, and manage crawlability so search engines index pages effortlessly. Local SEO & Business Profiles: Set up and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) and local citations to drive map-pack rankings. AI Search & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO/GEO): Optimize content and site structure to ensure our local clients get cited when users ask conversational AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) for local recommendations. Qualifications & Requirements 2+ years of hands-on experience building websites and managing SEO. Strong portfolio showcasing clean, functional, mobile-friendly WordPress/Elementor builds. Solid command of HTML/CSS for hands-on code adjustments. Proven understanding of technical SEO (Schema markup, page speed optimization, site architecture). Hands-on experience or a strong, active interest in AEO/GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). Familiarity with Google Business Profile optimization for trade services.
