Position: Short-Form Video Editor Work Hours (Client) : 9:00am - 5:00pm EST Location of Search : Philippines Salary: $1,500-$2,000/month (with a $2,500 cap for expert-level candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience). Company/Client Overview The client is launching a brand-new YouTube channel focused on family-friendly, high-energy kids' entertainment. They are looking for a creative, fast-paced Short-Form Video Editor to help us define the visual identity of this upcoming brand. They aren't just looking for someone to cut footage; they need a storyteller who understands internet culture, memes, and the "Sticki Rolls" style of editing that keeps young audiences engaged. Key Responsibilities High-Volume Production: Edit 20+ short-form videos per month (TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts) while maintaining high quality and brand consistency. Fast-Paced Storytelling: Execute high-cut, "sticki" editing styles with a focus on retention, engagement, and visual humor. Motion Graphics: Utilize After Effects to incorporate basic motion graphics, VFX, and dynamic on-screen elements to enhance the viewer experience. Collaboration: Use Frame.io for seamless feedback loops and version control with the creative team. Trend Alignment: Stay ahead of YouTube trends and viral "internet-speak" to ensure content resonates with a young audience. Accurate Captioning: Maintain 100% accuracy in fast-paced written captions to support accessibility and engagement. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Mastery: Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro. Visual Flair: Proficiency in After Effects for motion graphics and VFX is highly preferred. Workflow: Familiarity with Frame.io for reviews and project management. Portfolio Critical: Must provide a strong reel or portfolio showcasing "YouTube-style," high-energy, kid-friendly content. Note: Resumes without portfolios will not be considered. Language: Excellent written and verbal English skills. Efficiency: Ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines without sacrificing creative quality. Must provide a strong portfolio/reel aligned with YouTube-style, kid-friendly content. Ability to deliver 20+ short-form edits per month (varies by complexity). Strong pacing, storytelling, and understanding of YouTube content trends. Able to take feedback, work collaboratively, and meet deadlines.
