Job Title: Bookkeeper Location: Remote Start Date: Immediate Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage AP/AR, payroll, BAS preparation, and multi-entity reconciliations using Xero. This role supports end-to-end bookkeeping, compliance, and finance administration while ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities Process and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) across multiple entities Manage expense claims and credit card transactions Administer Xero Payroll, including PAYG and Superannuation Perform bank reconciliations and support End-of-Month (EOM) processes Provide ad hoc accounting assistance as required Complete accurate and timely Xero data entry Support general finance administration tasks Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping and BAS services High proficiency in Xero and commonly used third-party integrations/apps Formal qualifications in Bookkeeping or Accounting Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, PAYG, and Superannuation Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and financial data integrity Strong ability to manage multiple entities and competing priorities Excellent communication skills in English Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Preferred Attributes: Experience working with multi-entity finance Familiarity with ATO compliance and Australian accounting standards Experience collaborating with offshore or remote teams Strong understanding of cloud-based accounting workflows Proactive attitude and ability to identify process improvements Benefits Long-term position with job security and opportunities for professional growth.
